#LIIFE2021 And we have reached Picture Lock on the film! After half a year of editing, Ross Morin is turning the film back over to Brian who will send it out for Sound Mix and Color Grading. It's been a long journey. Congrats and endless thanks to Ross for his excellent work editing the film!
Ross Morin, 1st Assistant Director and Producer, has started his work on editing the film today. Ross and Brian have been making films together since undergrads at Connecticut College. In the past ten years, Brian has edited most of Ross' films (Ad Noctum, A Peculiar Thud, A Wheel out of Kilter), and now Ross is thrilled to be editing Brian's film!
So begins the longest part of the filmmaking process. We are hopeful we'll have a complete cut of the film in February 2021. After three full production days, a week of preproduction meetings, and five months of producing work, the shoot has come to a close! Congratulations and thanks to our wonderful cast and crew who made this experience so meaningful.
First day of the shoot! With general crew call at 8:00a.m., we were off and running with a day full of fun and hard work. Wrapped on time at 10p.m. and immediately started prep for Day 2!
With the arrival of key crew - we are settling into a week of preproduction and preparation for the coming shoot. Craft services are settled and fridges stocked, call sheets are finalized, the shooting schedule is in place - we're ready to tackle this project!
